🚫 Important: Project Creation in UniSA REDCap

If you already have a University of South Australia (UniSA) account:

Step 1: Select "Institutional Login" on the REDCap login page
Step 2: Choose "University of South Australia" as your organisation
Step 3: Sign in using your UniSA username and password

The "Create New Project" feature has been disabled in the UniSA instance.


➡️ All new projects must be created in AU REDCap

Note:

  • Existing UniSA REDCap projects will remain available in this UniSA instance. A migration plan is being developed, and further information will be communicated.  We want to reassure you that no data will be lost or deleted.  

If your institution (for example an Australian University, Health or research institution) is a member of the Australian Access Federation click on the AAF graphic below.

PLEASE NOTE: if you are connecting from outside the University of South Australia's network, Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) will be enforced. Please see step by step log in instructions with MFA on AskResearch.

 

How do I access REDCap?

Access to the REDCap application is free for researchers and can be requested by clicking the link below (UniSA employees and students only). If you wish to be added as a user to an existing project, please contact the project administrator to request access.

REDCap is a secure web platform for building and managing online databases and surveys. REDCap's streamlined process for rapidly creating and designing projects offers a vast array of tools that can be tailored to virtually any data collection strategy.

REDCap provides automated export procedures for seamless data downloads to Excel and common statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, Stata, R), as well as a built-in project calendar, a scheduling module, ad hoc reporting tools, and advanced features, such as branching logic, file uploading, and calculated fields.
